Dedicated to the memory of Charlie

A celebration of Charlie's life

Charlie passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Friday 5th April aged 74 years.  A much-loved husband, father, brother, uncle, brother in law and friend and colleague to many.

Charlie was a well known, lifelong Celtic supporter and a good friend to those who met him. He was loved by friends and family of all ages and backgrounds. Charlie had a wicked sense of humour and has been called “ a legend”  He was a much loved husband and father and in fact loved by all, including the staff of Forth Valley Cardiology Unit where he was hospitalised recently.

A Mass of celebration for the life of Charlie will take place at St Francis Xavier's Falkirk on, Friday 26th April at 10 am followed by an interment in Larbert cemetery at 11:15 am.

Charlie will also be received into St Francis Xavier's on Thursday 25th April at 6 pm.

Family and friends are welcome to attend both services.

If you plan to attend the service, Charlie's loved ones have requested you wear something green, however small in honour of Charlie.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if so desired can be made in memory of Charlie to  Chest, Heart and Stroke, Scotland at Forth Valley and can be left following the service or donated personally through Charlie’s memorial link below:
